Klassieke Chameleon was recorded live at the Aula Theatre in Pretoria in January 2008.
Chris Chameleon impressed both his audiences and critics alike with his production Klassieke Chameleon that was staged at the Volksblad Festival, Cultivaria Festival and Aardklop in 2007 and at KKNK in Oudtshoorn 2008. In Klassieke Chameleon Chris adds a classical flair to his music by performing with a team of top musicians that accompanies him on cello, flute, piano, guitar and drums. Chris performs new classical arrangements of his own hits including “Eerste Oogopslag”; “Sterredank”, “Die Onverkrygbare”, “Bitterbessie Dagbreek” and “Saved”. Chris also sings special renditions of timeless classics including “O sole mio”, “Here comes the night” and “Sunrise Sunset.” Look out for guest artist Lize Beekman who sings a beautiful duet with Chris on “Ek vir Jou.” Chris ends the Klassieke Chameleon show with the special inclusion of “Die Onse Vader.”
Klassieke Chameleon was extremely well received by being sold-out at all four festivals and won the PEOPLE`S CHOICE AWARD for most popular production at Aardklop 2007.
