After a recording hiatus of a number of years due, in the main, to frequent changes in the band’s line-up, their third album was released in 2008. Content-wise it lies between the two earlier releases leaning more towards the pop/folk side of rock. What is consistent throughout all three albums to date, however, is the sense of humour! The album is dominated by the very commercial and radio friendly, “My Girlfriend”, contrasting strongly with the 8-minute long classic rock number, “The Alchemist”. Listen out for Dan Shout’s atmospheric saxophone playing on the bluesy “Miggie In My Whiskey”. It’s guaranteed to get you to pour yourself another one!
