80's Vol 1 and 2 are compilations from the 4 Kalahari Surfers vinyl albums released between 1984 and 1989 through Recommended Records in London. These were important times for the Surfers and resulted in tours of Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, Eastern Germany and Soviet Union (the first SA rock group to play behind the iron curtain!). Banned in South Africa at that time for being too politically radical a few rare copies of "Bigger than Jesus" (retitled "Beach Bomb") are still in circulation. CD's released by ReR in UK and Microdot in SA. Vol 3 on its way soon.
