Ben Caesar will soon be launching his debut solo album entitled ‘Le Tigra’, an original and modern mix insightful lyrics to express the theme of ‘the dynamic contrast between the grace and fierceness of the tiger’.

Born on the Caribbean island of Dominica, and having lived in Amsterdam, St Lucia and London before settling in South Africa and launching his music career in Cape Town, Caesar has a wealth of personal experience that shines through in his lyrics. Add to the mix a melodic collage of kinetic drums, evolving synths and driving bass as well as Caesar’s rich voice, and the end result is a vibrant collection of singles with substance, delivered with honesty, conviction, passion and a powerful message.

Caesar had this to say about his soon to be released debut solo album: “Le Tigra is my first commercial release, it’s my statement saying to the world – ‘I'm here, I'm ready, the tiger is in the city!’ This album also expresses a part of me I don't yet fully know, it is inspired by the nature of the Tiger, connecting with our instinct and primal side. The world is getting faster, more digital, and we are fierce, its wild, its sensual”.

‘Le Tigra’ is masterfully produced by Ross Gabriel, and it journeys across R&B, Electro, raw Hip-Hop, Dubstep and Drum & Bass grooves.
