"Singles" contains three of Gerald Clark's latest songs, recorded throughout 2011. "As The Crow Flies", which was produced by Theo Crous and used by Volkswagen for their Amarok campaign, reworks the Tony Joe White classic to footstomping effect. "Marry Me" was recorded by Gerald for a certain special someone, and was used as the theme song for the South African Wedding Week. And lastly, "Elandsbaai (ft. Albert Frost)" reworks the classic song from Gerald's "Sweepslag" album, but adds the masterful sounds of one of South Africa's greatest guitar players in the form of Albert Frost.
