I grew up in a poor neighbourhood on the south east cost of South Africa. The place called Port Elizabeth. I never showed an interest in music, but showed interest in poetry. I started writing poetry in Grade 4 then called standard 2. I only started my music career at age 15 when I started a gospel rap group called the Royal Hoodlums. I produced the music for the group. At this stage I did not even know what a C or D note was. I played by ear. From there I started mixing sound for the church. I mixed for the church for 8 years after that. I also played in the worship band as a drummer. In that I had the privilege of mixing for International artists with the like of Jonathan Buttler. That was great but I needed more so I decided to leave the church and further my musical career. I started producing House Party Vol.1. I also produced a few tracks for friends. I moved from Port Elizabeth in 2006. I had no place in JHB. So I came looking for work and ended up on the street. I finally received help from a well known church. I stayed in their shelter for 3 months and found a job. I then met my wife, going for another interview and 3 months later we got married. We have a beautiful daughter. I am currently busy with House Party Vol.2.
