Chad Saaiman’s "The Flight"
released on StereoType Records
"The Flight" is an aural journey
leading listeners to a higher level of feeling, thinking, knowing and
existing. Chad Saaiman's second album contains the trademark Soul/Pop
sound created on his SAMA nominated debut release "Chasing Melodies."
This second offering also draws inspiration from the classic Motown
era and seamlessly fuses this timeless tone with current, popular elements
leaving the listener eagerly wondering "What's next!"
Production credits on "The Flight"
include Ron "Neff-U" Feemster (Neyo,Jay-Z, Mary J Blige),
the last producer to work with the Michael Jackson as well as Mr. Mallum
(Danny K,HHP) and newcomers The SHIFT, who capably handle the bulk of
the album's production. Recording was done at the StereoType Records
studios in Cape Town, South Africa, with additional recording for "London
Town" taking place in York in the United Kingdom.
Chad Saaiman has penned over 20 SA radio
singles, including Loyiso's "World of Mine" ft Khuli Chana
(co-written with Loyiso). He was co-executive producer on Byron Clarke's
SAMA-Nominated album "Self-Inflicted" and has written for,
and with, artists such as Danny K, Lloyd Jansen, Keeno Lee, Linda Mali
and more.
Saaiman pulls no punches on "The
Flight" and his evolution as an artist is clear. Chad believes
that the songs will tell the stories and the stories will sell records
- and that's where the magic lies. The soulful, feel-good first single
"Thinking About You" has already made an impact in the industry,
earning him a Metro FM Award nomination for Best R&B Artist 2010
as well as reaching the #1 spot on the Heart 104.9FM. Added to this,
Chad's latest singles, "Untouchable" and "Days Go By"
have already raced up the local charts.
"The Flight" is and album crafted
for music listeners and music lovers, for people who love the good times
and who need to get through the bad times.
Be prepared to Fly.
