Mark Haze (Lead Vocalist) gave his
thoughts on the new Album: “We've never denied that we are the carriers
of the flame, when it comes to delivering the old school hard rock that
we all grew up with. So, it was decided to follow in the footsteps of
some of the real true greats - The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple,
Black Sabbath, Queen, etc - and attempt to drive most of the material
live off the floor.
The reason for releasing a 6 song EP
and not en entire album as explained by the band: “Many albums contain
what we refer to in the industry as; Killers or Fillers - Fillers being
a few tracks simply put in to "complete" an album. We don't
believe in Fillers - this record has some of our best material - All
Killers”
“We've decided to go for a completely
different feel and approach on this record. As a live act, we've always
managed to carry across a certain amount of power and presence that
never really translated on our albums. We've also decided to produce
the album as a team of 4 - choosing to find a way to go back to our
roots as songwriters and deliver our most intoxicating material to date.
None of this has been touched or influenced by any outside assistance
- it came from within and was developed within.”
