‘NOVA’ is a new Cape Town band whose blend of sassy dynamic, silky vocals with a smooth contemporary jazz feel leaves the listener wondering who they are or, perhaps more importantly, where they have been hiding.
A classic combination of young jazz musicians and a singer from the best traditions of Gospel choirs has resulted in a new sound for the holiday season.
Their first project, Nova Noël - Christmas in Cape Town, is a compilation CD of popular Christmas songs, performed in their own unique style with tight rhythms and festive grooves accompanied by a talented singer with an exceptional vocal range.
