Orion by Various Artists

The CD 'Orion' is the soundtrack of a new television series 'Orion', to be screened on kykNET from 11 July. The new Jan Blohm hit song, 'Groen Trui', will appear exclusively on this CD. (The video of 'Groen Trui' has already been voted an A-lister on MK 89 and will be screened regularly by KykNET.)

Artists to be featured on this CD are: Brixton Moord en Roof Orkes, Valiant Swart, Jan Blohm, Rikku Latti, Rian Malan, Gert Vlok Nel and others. The novel 'Orion' by Deon Meyer has won international literary awards (Prix Mystère de la Critique 2004).

The TV series, produced by the American Dave Altman, has been described by critics as one of the best local productions this country has seen for years, and is guaranteed to evoke unprecedented public interest.
