These Wings is a collection of 12 unforgettable ballades performed by South Africa’s own, Freddie Wessels. With 18 years singing experience, this 21 year old, spends his time touring both locally and internationally while juggling his studies and passion for golf.
Although his fifth album is not gospel, with tracks like You Raise Me Up, My Confession, You Are So Beautiful and Because You’re Mine, These Wings is sure to bring out the romantic side of every listener. Local songwriters who contributed to the album include Danny and Lisa Antill, Dennis East and Raymond Cilliers.
Recently Freddie filmed two music videos for the album. He also has two full length DVD’s out with the contemporary gospel quartet, Imagine. His involvement with the group has developed his vocal skills by adding a number of duets to his repertoire.
Freddie has appeared on television programs such Noot vir Noot, Crux and Star Search. International performances include visits to the USA, London and Namibia.
